ACMA Broadcast Transmitter Data
The Australian Media and Communications Authority (ACMA) is the official government body in Australia responsible for all radio transmitter licensing. The data is updated monthly and is available in Access or Excel formats. ACMA Licence Search
This very useful part of the ACMA website allows you to find all radio licence allocations in Australia. This is a friendly group of over 2000 people with a common interest in the Australian radio industry, past and present. The group is administered by Ash Long of the Melbourne Observer newspaper.
Australian Radio DX Club
The ARDXC was founded in 1965 and is dedicated to providing its members with news and information and to generate friendship amongst DXers and broadcast listeners throughout Australia and the world. Adam Dimech's great site allows you to listen live to hundreds of Australian radio stations. This group has been established by Craig Huggins of Gold 104.3 in Melbourne as a forum for displaying stickers from Australian radio stations. The group was created in August 2012 and has around 270 members.

Commercial Radio Australia is the national industry body representing Australia's commercial radio broadcasters. This is the website of Digital Radio Broadcasting Australia (a consortium of Commercial Radio Australia, ABC Radio and SBS Radio). Digital Audio Broadcasting Plus (DAB+) services are operating on frequencies in the range 202-212 MHz from transmitter sites at Sydney (Artarmon & Willoughby), Melbourne (Mt Dandenong), Brisbane (Mt Coot-tha), Adelaide (Crafers) and Perth (Carmel). Test transmissions are being conducted from sites at Canberra (Black Mountain) and Darwin (Berrimah).
